1. The seller
Products are sold by Nardi Motorsport S.r.l., VAT no. IT16529321008, registered office at Via Antonio Gramsci 24, 00197 Roma, Italy, workshop at Via Evangelista Torricelli 2, 00015 Monterotondo (RM), Italy, email info@nardi-motorsport.com ("Nardi Motorsport", "we").
These terms apply to all orders placed through nardi-motorsport.com and its shop, by consumers and businesses alike. The rules reserved to consumers by the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) apply only to purchases made by natural persons acting for purposes outside their trade or profession.
2. Products and prices
The shop offers engine management ECUs, dashes and accessories from third-party manufacturers (in particular Link ECU and ECUMaster), of which Nardi Motorsport is a reseller. Product pages reproduce the information provided by the manufacturer: compatible engines and models, fitting notes and technical characteristics.
All prices are in euro and include 22% Italian VAT. Shipping costs, where due, are shown before the order is confirmed. Prices may change without notice: the price shown at the time of the order applies. In case of an obvious pricing error we reserve the right not to accept the order and will fully refund any amount paid.
Images are for illustration only. Before ordering, check compatibility with your vehicle carefully, in particular the factory ECU connector and the notes on the product page; if in doubt, write to us and we will check it together.
3. Orders and conclusion of the contract
An order sent through the shop is an offer to purchase. The contract is concluded when we send you the order confirmation email, after checking product availability. Products are supplied to order: we email you the expected delivery time within 24 working hours of receiving your order.
If a product is unavailable or cannot be delivered within the stated time, we let you know immediately and you may choose to wait or cancel the order with a full refund.
Please provide correct and complete delivery details and, if you need an invoice, your tax code or VAT number and SDI recipient code or PEC address.
4. Payment
Payment is processed by Stripe on a secure page, by credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, bank transfer and any other method offered at checkout. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe: Nardi Motorsport neither receives nor stores full card details.
For bank transfers, the order is processed once the funds are received. On request we provide bank details for a direct transfer: in that case the order is confirmed by email and processed on receipt of payment.
5. Delivery
We ship within Italy by insured express courier; shipping is free unless otherwise stated at checkout. Alternatively you can collect the product at our workshop in Monterotondo (Rome) by appointment.
Delivery times depend on availability from the manufacturer and are communicated by email after the order. In any case delivery takes place within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract, unless otherwise agreed with you. On delivery, check that the packaging is intact: in case of visible damage, accept with reservation and notify us within 48 hours.
For shipping outside Italy please contact us before ordering: we will confirm costs and times.
6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, receive the product, without giving any reason (Articles 52 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code).
To exercise this right, send us an explicit statement at info@nardi-motorsport.com before the deadline, indicating the order number, the product and your details. You may use the form at the end of these terms, but it is not compulsory.
You must return the product within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, intact, complete with all accessories and in its original packaging, to Nardi Motorsport S.r.l., Via Evangelista Torricelli 2, 00015 Monterotondo (RM), Italy. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice; we may withhold the refund until we have received the product or proof that you have sent it. The refund is made using the same payment method used for the purchase.
You are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning: an ECU that has been installed, programmed or modified cannot be resold as new and the diminished value will be deducted from the refund. The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to your specifications or clearly personalised (for example ECUs built to order from your original connector).
7. Warranty
Consumers benefit from the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity from delivery (Articles 128–135 of the Italian Consumer Code). In case of a lack of conformity you are entitled to have conformity restored by repair or replacement or, under the conditions set by law, to a price reduction or termination of the contract. Report the defect to info@nardi-motorsport.com with the order number and a description of the problem.
Purchases made with a VAT number are covered by the warranty for defects under the Italian Civil Code (Articles 1490 et seq.), with notice of the defect within 8 days of discovery and a one-year limitation period from delivery.
Any commercial warranty offered by the manufacturer (for example the Link ECU limited warranty) remains in force under the manufacturer's conditions. The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, wrong power supply, inadequate tuning, misuse or tampering.
8. Installation and use of the products
ECUs, dashes and accessories sold in the shop are technical components intended to be installed and tuned by qualified personnel. Incorrect installation or tuning can damage the engine and other vehicle components: Nardi Motorsport is not liable for damage resulting from installation, wiring or tuning not carried out by our workshop.
Replacing the factory ECU may affect the vehicle's type approval and the manufacturer's warranty coverage. Many products are intended for competition use or use on closed circuits: it is your responsibility to verify that the modified vehicle complies with the rules applicable to use on public roads.
On request we carry out installation, wiring and set-up on our 4WD dyno: write to us for a quote.
9. Invoicing
We issue the tax document required by law for every order. If you need an electronic invoice, enter your tax code or VAT number and SDI recipient code or PEC address at checkout; the invoice is transmitted through the Italian Revenue Agency's exchange system (SDI). Invoice requests made after the order can only be accepted within the limits allowed by tax law.
10. Complaints and dispute resolution
For any complaint write to info@nardi-motorsport.com: we normally reply within 5 working days. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union you may also use the European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, and the alternative dispute resolution procedures provided by Articles 141 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes with consumers fall under the jurisdiction of the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile, if located in Italy. Disputes with businesses fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Rome.
12. Privacy
Personal data collected with the order is processed according to our privacy policy. For payment, data is processed by Stripe as an independent controller, according to its own policy.
Withdrawal form
Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. You can copy it into an email to info@nardi-motorsport.com.
